We are looking to Add a Key Member to our Planning & Governance team!


The Planning & Governance branch of IT is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and energetic leader to drive outcomes for multi-sourced simple to complex efforts. This person will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business partners, solution delivery, infrastructure & operations, and third-party solution providers. The Scrum Master will be focused on meeting commitments, delivering value, ensuring quality and providing unparalleled customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Enable collaboration and team building
  • Protect, advocate and offer support to your teams
  • Provide coaching to teams
  • Lead high-energy agile ceremonies
  • Effectively and regularly communicate within teams and to sponsors/stakeholders throughout IT and the business
  • Remove blockers or barriers impeding team’s progress
  • Tool administration and maintenance (e.g. Jira, O365 & Teams etc.)
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities by developing strategies to mitigate or leverage
  • Create change management plans that ensure impacted audiences have timely communication and training
  • Monitoring, reporting and metrics (e.g. burn down, velocity, status etc.)
  • Solicit regular feedback and lessons learned and incorporate into standard processes as fast as possible
  • Successfully plan & balance competing constraints like scope, schedule, resources, risks/opportunities, quality etc.


Position Qualifications


Competencies:

Honesty/integrity, customer-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, curious, proactive problem-solver, aptitude for learning and listening, accountable, self-managing, technical aptitude, remaining calm under pressure, diplomatic, and outstanding English communication skills (oral & written) across all levels in the organization.


Education:

  • Agile, Scrum or SAFe certification strongly recommended
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field preferred


Experience:

  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies (e.g. agile, iterative, waterfall)
  • Demonstrated experience in IT
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-sourced teams
  • Demonstrated experience liaising across organizations
  • Demonstrated competency reporting on status and metrics
  • Knowledge of planning tools with evidence of practical application

    Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of O365, Teams, Jira strongly preferred
  • Understanding of core software applications (Salesforce, Infolease, Informatica) and infrastructure (Cloud, network, database) is desirable
