Job description
As an Entry Level Compensation Administrator for Kimball Midwest, you will work to support our Compensation Coordinator in managing all compensation functions within the Sales Compensation and Communications Department. As the Compensation Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining all updates to the sales team, compiling compensation plans for sales reps, ensuring interdepartmental best practices are upheld to ensure applicable state law compliance; and assisting departmental members with daily operations. You will be expected to have a high attention to detail and the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- This position requires a high school diploma.
- This position requires two (2) years’ experience in a business/secretarial environment or an Associate’s Degree in a business-related field.
- This position requires intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VLookup, creating spreadsheets and formulas. It requires the ability to quickly grasp new computer related functions
- This position requires the ability to possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- This position requires a high attention to detail and quality in typing, calculating figures, filing, and corresponding with Sales Representatives/Managers. A typing speed of 50 wpm is preferred.
- This position requires the ability to perform several tasks simultaneously and accurately, under specific time frames.
- This position requires the ability to respond quickly to problems, and the ability to work in a stressful environment.
- This position requires the ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- This position requires the ability to function without continuous supervisory direction.
- This position requires a 40-hour work week and may require additional hours
