• Aquatic experience (not required) - Swimming, Lifeguard, Swim Team, Swim Instructor

• Provide safe and fun swim lessons following the SCSC Curriculum - paid training!
• Focus on children’s happiness, well-being, and progression in each swim level!
• Take advantage of a consistent schedule, consistent students, and consistent fun!
• Use creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges with students!
• Attend paid training and development opportunities!

Instructor requirements include,

• Experience working with children in some capacity
• Comfortable working in a pool for 3-4 hours
• Must work at least 2 evening/weekend shifts per week*
• Applicants 18 years and older must pass a background check
• American Red Cross First Aid, AED, & CPR certification**
• USSSA Infant/Toddler certification***

• Weekend Shifts: Friday 4-7pm, Saturday 9am-1pm, & Sunday 1-4pm; Evening Shifts: Monday-Thursday 4-7:30pm. If needed this will be determined by management, based on class needs.

**SCSC offers a certification class for staff who are not currently certified.

***Infant/toddler Instructors only. Certification done through SCSC.
