We are seeking a well-organized, self-motivated individual with food industry experience and a passion for sustainability and agriculture. Must be comfortable spending time talking with farmers and others within the agricultural industry. This critical role will support Grain Millers procurement, sales, and our manufacturing facilities. Must be comfortable communicating primarily via email or phone as well as on-farm visits with our customers and suppliers. Travel is expected up to 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Focus on partnering with farmers, suppliers and customers to drive sustainability goals, objectives, and strategies; creates and implements plans for related projects.
• Assists and provides leadership in the development and implementation of on-farm Regenerative Agriculture and Carbon Neutral or Carbon Negative programs as defined by customers and governmental agencies.
• Delivers presentations and reports to communicate sustainability initiatives highlighting their effectiveness and environmental impact.
• Produces content for marketing resources, including brochures or online media, to promote sustainability practices, procedures and objectives.
• Pioneer a mill-based sustainability effort focusing on water, energy, and waste within Grain Millers Facilities.
• Takes a leading role in the development and implementation of sustainability focused identity preserved (IP) programs designed to meet specific customer requirements and value identification, interacting with sales teams to define success.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture business, Agronomy, Sustainable Agriculture., Sustainability, or related field.
• Prefer two to four years' experience in Agriculture production & Corporate Sustainability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population everywhere from the farm to the board room.
• Demonstrated skill in organization, planning, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
