EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
PG: K Under general supervision, plans, develops, and analyzes data collection in the DAS Data System (DDS) for COVID. Works closely with the DAS Program leads to evaluate, analyze, and communicate program’s requirements on a continuing basis and maintain processes, including the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly status reports to all appropriate parties. Author and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation to programs in a timely manner. Conduct database analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.Role and Responsibilities: Develops SQL queries to pull data for quality assurance on Dementia data elements across all programs in DDS and prepares comprehensive quantitative data reports on a scheduled basis.Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance workflow processes.Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to program teams.Gathers and delivers ad hoc data to programs as requested.Assists with Help Desk as needed.Works with tableau and/or Microsoft BI to develop data visualizations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in public health or a closely related field from an accredited college or university AND Two (2) years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely related field.ORBachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university AND Three (3) years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely related field.OR Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Epidemiologist 1 (HCP180) or position equivalent.Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills/experience: Course of study or work experience that include working in a helpdesk environment practical use of data and statistical analysis is highly desirable.Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) report language and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Report Builder software, and Tableau.Demonstrated skill in the application of multivariate statistical methods to analyze large data sets using a statistical package such as Stata, SAS or SPSS.Prior experience with Wellsky or SAMS products.Prior database management experience.Prior Project management experience.Proficiency with the MS Office suite including Microsoft Teams.Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
