Ideal Rent-All, independent since 1976 founding. The equipment mechanic will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair all rental equipment in our fleet.

Mechanics will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and engine related repairs on all equipment – Equipment ranging from small hand-held pieces to 45’ Boom Lifts and everything in between
• Assist customers via telephone with troubleshooting equipment issues
• May be required to travel to customer job sites for on-site repairs
• Ability to work on variety of makes, models & equipment from top manufactures including Multiquip, Ditch Witch, Genie, Skyjack, Kubota, Bobcat, and JLG

• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

• Inventory, organizing, and ordering of commonly used parts and shop supplies

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must love challenges and solving problems where every day has it's own challenges
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build positive rapport with awesome customers

• Ability to read schematics, diagnose, and repair various types of equipment failures
• Ability to multi-task and move from one objective to another efficiently

• Well organized with attention to detail

• Ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently

• Basic computer knowledge with Point of Rental software experience a plus

• Welding and fabrication is a plus
