Essential Job Functions:

1. Provides safe and quality patient care virtually and functions as a patient advocate.

2. Uses technology as a platform for patient care, navigates computer and cloud storage systems, and demonstrates strong typing skills.

3. Delivers patient care that leverages access, comprehension, coordination, longitudinal relationships, through virtual care channels.

4. Delivers patient care in high priority content areas as determined by leadership to further organizational interests. Such high priority content areas may include travel health, preventive care, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions. The registered nurse will participate in care delivery for these priority content areas and roles may include modalities involving, chat, video, email, or phone.

5. Maintain a growth mindset with desire to learn as service lines evolve.

6. Demonstrates the ability to assess, record, and report needs, concerns and coordinate the needs of patients and maintain constructive relationships with them, and with all care providers.

7. Strong clinical decision making skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

8. Educates and instructs the patient and/or other responsible person in meeting nursing and related patient care needs.

9. Demonstrates accurate and appropriate documentation skills and compliance with documentation guidelines.

10. Maintains a reliable mode of transportation for all scheduled in-person shifts, with reliability being a key piece of job performance.

11. Accountable for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability. Accountable for effective performance and follow-through of all assigned responsibilities and completing responsibilities within designated (or agreed upon) timeframes. Completes responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals, and values.

12. Demonstrates ability to adapt as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environment.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.
