Job Title: Escrow Administration Analyst II
Location: Greenville, SC (this is not a remote position)
Job Type: Full Time
Job Summary:
The Escrow Administration Analyst II is responsible for high level maintenance of tax and insurance records on mortgaged properties and accurate and timely payment of real estate taxes, assessments, and appropriate insurance premiums on escrowed accounts. In addition, work with the tax tracking and insurance tracking vendors to ensure all relevant tracking of loans is maintained accurately. When necessary, oversee the administration of hazard claims process. Reporting to the Escrow Department Manager, this role contributes to the day-to-day operations of the Escrow Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide transparency on vendor performance and contract compliance
- Assist with the creation and/or maintenance of escrow processing department written policies and procedures
- Review payments and completes reconciliation of all tax bills to taxing authorities, and insurance payments to the provider in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensures that new parcel information is continuously updated within servicing platform
- Responsible for the maintenance of all escrowed loan payment vouchers to minimize delinquency rate
- Review monthly and quarterly tax delinquency reporting for non-escrowed loans
- Review escrow analyses on escrowed loans to ensure completion and accuracy
- Provide high-level assistance with mortgage hazard claim processing, including reviewing inspections and work orders, contracts, and other areas as needed
- Ensure vendor compliance by completing quarterly audits
- Review and resolve escalated borrower related issues
- Advise Management of project status, unresolved escalated items and/or potential risks/exposures
- Perform other tasks and Ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of professional-level experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other directly related mortgage experience is preferred.
- Experience within a Mortgage Servicing Escrow Department is preferred.
- Must be able to deal with complex problems independently and with sound judgment
- Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize projects and tasks, and adjust quickly while maintaining attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
