Job Profile Summary:
This role is responsible for overall enterprise client data exchange management.

This is a critical role as all of the data received by clients are loaded to the core business applications and are vital to the patient authorization and case build process

Required to be working on-call in the evening as and when needed

Job Description:
Manage SQL Server jobs and daily production loads to the data warehouse using the full scope of the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process, including client files, the ingestion engine, SSIS packages, process management, and SLA tracking.

Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process production issues, including bad data, file mapping, performance issues for SSIS packages and ETL processes, and review stored procedures and functions for issues.

Apply experience with production automation, process improvement, documentation, development, software development lifecycle (SDLC), source control, and versioning for data warehouse development.

Address and remedy production ETL failures, create root cause analysis, and adhere to data availability service level agreements (SLA).

Reduce frequently occurring SQL Server production issues. Automate manual work through automation process improvement and minimize manual intervention in production environment.

Monitor ETL finish time and address surges in data volume, poor source data quality, server outages to maintain SLA.

Create and modify SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages that manage data loads from source systems to destinations for production environment.

Determine and remedy SQL Server blocking transactions within multiple parallel job runs to maintain business SLA and prevent job errors.

Manage permissions, audits, and user settings within data warehouse for maintaining Private Health Information (PHI) security.

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers related to data analysis of bad data and resolutions required.

Perform mappings for external data received to internal field requirements and determine transformation logic

Migrate legacy platform system processes to Azure environment in the cloud, design, performance, and process transfer.

Technical

5+ years of experience with Data Exchange/Load, Data Warehouse and TSQL development (scripting, stored procedures, triggers, query development)

Strong understanding of SQL Server Database technology

Experience with ETL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, OLAP, BCP

Knowledge and Experience with Best Practices and Standards for TSQL and SDLC

Development Tools/Applications (GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, RedGate Tools, Visual Studio, etc

FTP File Management (Zip/Unzip, Encrypt/Decrypt) – MoveIT, Data Tran, SI

Data Load Processing, Workflow Management and Process Automation

Non-Technical

Reporting Data Analysis/Reporting Skills (On Demand, Error, Trending, Summary, etc)

Agile Methodologies/SCRUM

Familiar with ANSI/EDI standards

Documentation Development

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,300 - 128,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
