We are looking for a Fitness Attendant to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean fitness center. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make members feel welcome in our fitness center will stand out. You will answer member questions, maintain an exemplary clean and tidy fitness center, launder, fold and distribute towels for members and enforce fitness center policies. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential member issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that members have an excellent experience at our fitness center.

Responsibilities

• MUST be CPR/AED certified
• MUST be able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Maintain a clean fitness environment by regularly cleaning/disinfecting strength & cardio equipment, stretch mats, and group exercise equipment.
• Set up and take down basketball nets and volleyball nets for Intramural games and other activities on the courts.
• Oversee the check-out and check-in system for racquetball equipment.
• Track participation in Group Exercise Classes.
• Wash, dry, fold towels for use in locker rooms and fitness floor
• Record any issues with equipment and relay to management for maintenance
• Attend scheduled team meetings
• Be available for members' questions or concerns

Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Salary: $16.10 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 9:15pm
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
• AED Certification (Required)
