General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Liquid Sunshine Projects owns and operates fun, fast paced social concepts and is looking for an experienced Event Specialist to join our growing team.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations Departments to market and execute events.
• Oversee and facilitate pub crawls between all Downtown Chandler social concepts.
• Collaborate with Good Neighbors Charity & facilitate fundraising events
• Creates and seeks partnership opportunities with event promoters, business partners, schools and other organizations to advance the overall goals of the Liquid Sunshine Projects.
• Attends all signature and community events as assigned and facilitates with set up and tear down.
• Spearheads planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a variety of events.
• Creating and executing creative and memorable events
• Establish and maintain a relationship with vendors and sponsors by providing excellent service to build great business partners.
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing regarding event details and proposed operations behind how the event will run to the LSP Leadership Team.
• Works cross departmententally with Operations & Marketing to facilitate events on a Downtown Chandler level while being able to articulate proposed policies and procedures surrounding the event.
• Will communicate details of the event to business partners, the community and the LSP Leadership Team via event recap report.
• Will communicate to LSP Leadership the following: post-event summaries, analysis, participant feedback and incorporate lessons learned to take into the future
• Serves as the recruiting lead for event day staff and volunteers and manage volunteers the day of the event with being able to articulate duties and responsibilities
• Works with marketing department and is responsible for seeking and maintaining partnerships within organizations to enhance profitability
• Works with the marketing team to build marketing plans that are effective and efficient in generating the desired attendance goals within budget specific guidelines.
• Generates scalable events based off of budget, experience, industry knowledge, trends and guidance from the leadership team.
• Create and maintain a strong vendor database to allow a variety of vendors to select from for each event. Vendors that we have a relationship with and are supported within the industry and LSP.
• Analyze and maximize sales & profitability results utilizing: ROCS Ricks, Opportunities, Challenges & Strengthens.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and standards within the event world
• Responsible for delivering service excellence that aligns with Liquid Sunshine Projects core values.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• B.S in Marketing, Events or Communications (Preferred)
• Five Years of Event Experience: with a portfolio of previous work experience
• Ability to identify problems before they arise and address and defuse them
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example during a crisis while maintaining the appropriate communication channels with corresponding leaders and/or public safety officials.
• The ability to build relationships in the community and within the professional network
• The ability to coordinate and manage volunteers while accurately articulating job duties and how to execute them
• The ability to lead and manage a team and coordinate with leadership to oversee and manage concept specific team members
• Active Communication Skills
• Restaurant/Hospitality Experience (Preferred)
• Motivated Self-Starter
• Must be comfortable leading meetings that show event analytics
• Must be comfortable in online platforms
• Must be comfortable with weekly meetings with LSP leadership to update and strategies on current events and future opportunities
• Must be able to achieve and deliver all goal expectations set forth by LSP leadership and business partners and superpassing event expectations to provide exceptional and excellent results.
• Must be able to meet and superpass goals by achieving deadlines earlier than expected and achieving any and all projects prior and advance to hard deadlines.
• Must be able to maintain a shared calendar and maintain a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management
• Proficient in safety codes relating to constructing a compliant event site
