We are looking for a creative, organized and detailed oriented individual with a passion for event management to join our Partnership and Talent Attraction team in Student Programs DEI. You will be responsible for the successful execution of Student Programs DEI conferences and other events to attract and engage students. This highly collaborative role will partner with key stakeholders to bring Amazon to life for students.

Key job responsibilities
- Outline a robust ground up conference and event engagement model, determine standardized event process and tracking needs to deliver against goals
- Assist with event management from conception to measurement, including strategy, project management, vendor negotiation and management, speaker engagement and management, production, event registration, data gathering/reporting/analysis, evaluations, program audits, security reviews, communications, technology, compliance tracking and cross-functional partnering.
- Work with 3rd party event agencies and vendors, guiding them to ensure timely delivery of event deliverables
- Deliver against established milestones to achieve team and stakeholder goals
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure relevant functions/stakeholders are kept informed of our business objectives; maintain a complete, up-to-date calendar of outreach and recruitment events.
- Track, collect, and report event metrics, and analyze program elements for effectiveness to measure success including time saved and YoY improvement recommendations
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated history of defining event strategy and executional excellence
- Strategic thinker who can take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions and measurable metrics and then execute on those plans
- Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time

The pay range for this position in Jersey City is $125,800 - 170,200/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Pay Transparency Regulation of Jersey City Municipal Code. Base pay information is based on market location.
