Situation Group, a global collective of digital-first advertising agencies and an award-winning nonprofit, seeks an Executive Assistant with 3+ years to join our team. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their well-honed administrative, communication and writing skills in this role.
What You'll Do
The Executive Assistant is responsible for the supporting the President of Situation Group both in day-to-day tasks and larger initiatives. This role manages the President’s calendar and coordinates as well as executes agency gatherings as assigned, including industry roundtables and other Situation Group events related to the development of agency experiences and content. The Executive Assistant is an active participant in research, proofreading and writing for the President’s projects.
Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain President’s schedule by coordinating all meetings and travel; ensures efficient time management by reading, researching, and routing correspondence
- Support President as needed in planning and organizing internal and external agency events
- Support Situation Group’s public relations needs, including the gathering and distributing of agency materials needed for PR purposes
- Support the President in the development, copywriting and coordination of Situation Group content, experiences and initiatives (i.e. newsletters, podcasts, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Studio for required creative assets for event, PR or general agency needs
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant administrative experience
- 2+ years of prior experience working with a senior level leader
- Expertise in Google Suite, specifically in Gmail and Google Calendars is a must
- Relevant experience in organizing and planning group gatherings
- Ability to fluidly move between a variety of day-to-day responsibilities
- Proven experience in writing content, newsletters and articles
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Collaborative and solution-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
