SUMMARY OF ROLE: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the overall operation of the housekeeping department. The Executive Housekeeper must ensure maximum departmental productivity and exceptional service quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: 1. Manage daily housekeeping operations and provide timely and efficient service to guests 2. Maintain adequate supply and make available housekeeping and laundry supplies as prescribed by established motel procedures 3. Oversee communication to guest services the status of all rooms in a timely fashion 4. Inspect guest rooms to ensure proper adherence to Company standards and procedures 5. Train and provide career development to all housekeeping associates 6. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments 7. Understand and maintain guest service standards and policies 8. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to provide safe and sanitary working conditions for all motel guests and employees 9. Maintain compliance with governmental and safety regulations 10. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES  Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards  Accuracy and speed for executing assigned tasks and job responsibilities  Communication skills are used frequently when interacting with the other motel staff and motel guests  Reading and writing abilities are used to document or record all tasks completed, to receive instructions for the day or to read policies and procedures  Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control  Ability to prioritize responsibilities and be self-sufficient in periods of reduced occupancy  Must demonstrate enthusiasm, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty  Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task and meet job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment  Demonstrated ability to operate safely in the workplace

QUALIFICATIONS  Supervisory housekeeping experience is required  Ability to work a variety of days, including nights, weekends and holidays  Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

• Rumson, NJ 07760: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
