More info can be found in the benefits link within the online posting.Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Government Affairs & Community Relations, the Executive Scheduler is responsible for support of the Executive Director, Senior Director of Government Affairs & Community Relations, and Membership Services Officer in a range of tasks, establishing and improving communication to better serve the interests of local governments, and building relationships with elected and appointed officials, the private business sector and community groups. Responsible for providing high level administrative scheduling assistance and support to the Executive Director, Senior Director of Government Affairs & Community Relations, and Membership Services Officer.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provide scheduling support to the Executive Director, Senior Director of Government Affairs & Community Relations, and Membership Services Officer, including: meetings involving travel inside and outside the regionmeetings such as briefings, breakfasts, luncheons, speaking engagements, media requests, public hearings, agency events, special events, and morerecurring internal and external meetings participation in meetings of Commission, committee, board, and more Conduct administrative and clerical production, phone calls, scheduling of appointments and meetings, receiving visitors and organization of the department.Regularly uses and assists in maintaining the Agency’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Maintain conference room calendars ensuring accuracy of information.Provide proper and accurate dissemination of information to staff, board members and outside contacts.Provide administrative back-up for the agency and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Self-motivated team player excited to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal relationship management skills.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, and grammar; mathematical ability. Resourceful, proactive, reliable, trustworthy, and assertive, when necessary.Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.Ability to project a high degree of professionalism. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of high school education, supplemented by business or management school training, plus at least three years with administrative or executive support experience or similar. College degree or administrative support certifications preferred.Computer experience and aptitude a must, knowledge of Word and Office necessary. Exceptionally high level of maturity and sensitivity in dealing with people.Reliable transportation.· Flexible schedule with three days required in the office. (20-25 hours a week).
