Sporting Clays Grille at the top of the mountain at Seven Springs Mountain Resort is hiring an Executive Sous Chef.

Sporting Clays Grille is a 75 seat ala carte operation with an additional 75 seats on an outdoor deck with some of the best views in the Laurel Highlands. The Grille hosts over 100 events per year in conjunction with the Sporting Clays facility housed in the same building. Events range from 50-200 guests.

The Executive Sous Chef oversees and manages all food production, kitchen management, management of the Culinary team. The ideal candidate:

• Has 5+ years experience managing a culinary team
• Can manage food cost to budget; develop menus and menu specifications to food cost, manage production to food cost, review pricing on a regular basis and adjust as necessary
• Can interview, schedule, train and coach Culinary staff. We are a supportive employer focused on working together to achieve common goals.
• Excels at guest service and has a desire to work as one food and beverage unit with the front of house team
• Is a problem solver. Approaches challenges with solution based thinking
• Is excited to be part of a growing company

Sporting Clays Grille is part of the growing hospitality branch of Highlands Ventures. This position has excellent opportunity for growth. Two additional restaurants are in development in the Laurel Highlands. The company owns and operates the Wheeling Country Club and North Shore Food and Beverage in Pittsburgh, PA.
