Job description
SJS Industrial, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Executives, is seeking a safety and detail-oriented Expediter who will work in our Virginia Beach coatings facility providing necessary logistical services to our organization that supports various clients in and around the Hampton Roads region.
Working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional overtime or Saturday work could occur.

Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors’ priorities.
- Establishes internal delivery sequences within organization according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.
- Monitors, tracks, and control movement of materials throughout its production lifecycle from receipt to delivery.
- Compile perpetual records in order to locate materials in process of production, using manual and computerized systems.
- Document orders, materials, and any stock movements
- Prepare outgoing orders and place them on trucks for delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Ensure that finished products are properly secured and ready for shipment to customers.
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Attend all safety and production training
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Logistical/Inventory control experience.
- Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource systems not required, but a huge plus.
- Must have the expertise in requisitioning procedures, warehouse operations, storage procedures, shipping and transportation of materials.
- Must pass drug test and background check.
