Lamerson Landy Care has provided home care for Merced County residents for over 30 years. Miss Lamerson saw a need in the community and chose to take action to improve the lives of those around her. While working in the healthcare field, she was forced to choose between her career and caring for her aging family. She chose family. Finding a deep sense of fulfillment, she began to expand her efforts to help others around her. Lamerson Landy Care was born. Caregiver

Compensation: $15-$17.00 per hr. depending upon experience, certifications, and shift. Paid training during 90 day probation period. Eligible for raises after 90 day probation.

Employment type: Full-time, part-time, and opportunities for on call.

Benefits: Health insurance, Aflac, and paid time off are available after 90 day probationary period. Paid time off is up to 24 hours of accrued sick time per year. 401k is available after one year of employment.

Shift: Part time and full time caregivers for Merced, Atwater areas.

Care services for the elderly. This includes but is not limited to these responsibilities:

Provide routine individualized care to the elderly or persons with disabilities
Monitor and report changes in patient health status
Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients Medication & Medical Management.

Teach family members ways to care for patient

Qualifications:
Positive and patient demeanor
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to handle physical workload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have an insured and reliable vehicle
• Pass a thorough background check/live-scan
• Have a CPR & First Aid Certifications

***Must be available 3 weekends a month minimum and holidays
