,examsVCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is seeking Experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our growing team!

VCA Stoney Creek is an AAHA-accredited veterinary practice that has been part of the North Charlotte/University community for over 20 years. We are a one-of-a-kind, growing, six-doctor general practice that’s mission is to build lasting relationships with patients and clients while advocating for animal wellness and pledging to provide compassionate veterinary care. We offer routine services from wellness care to surgical and dental procedures. Along with non-medical services such as boarding, daycare and basic grooming.

The skills that you will utilize include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining electronic medical records.
• Restraint for physical exam and procedures.
• Handling and processing of samples for laboratory testing.
• Assist Doctors and Technicians in patient care and client communication.
• Admitting and discharging patients.
• Routine cleaning and stocking
• Processing pharmacy requests
• Venipuncture
• Radiology
• Laboratory work
• Client education
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule.
