Job SummaryThe External Transport Tech is responsible for pick up and delivery of supplies for various Organizational department sites off of the main hospital campus. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical EffortWorks as scheduled through work week, Weekend and night call required on occasion. May be required to work off shift, and fill in depending on needs. Required to transport under all weather conditions. Be able to lift 50 lbs. independently.

Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation: High school graduate or equivalent.Experience: Valid Kentucky driver's license with no assessed penalties.EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Good driving skills/record. Needs to be able to lift and move heavy loads. Ability to interact effectively with all contacts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently.
