De Cordova Bend Estates & Country Club
De Cordova is a City in Hood County, Texas. It is a gated residential community located on Lake Granbury, 6 miles east-southeast of Granbury, and is part of the Granbury, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
De Cordova Bend Estates started being developed at the same time as the De Cordova Bend Dam in the late 1960’s. The dam, built on the Brazos River to control the flow downstream, formed Lake Granbury. The new community was intended to serve as a weekend recreational getaway for resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is a 1602 home, private gated, all-age residential community 34 miles southwest of Fort Worth. De Cordova Bend Estates & Country Club features:

The City of De Cordova incorporated on January 15, 2000. De Cordova was the first city in Texas to be incorporated after the turn of the century and claims the title of Texas “Millennium City”.
The City has a Mayor/ City Council form of government and all city residents are members of the De Cordova Bend Estates Owners Association and Country Club. The Granbury Independent School District serves area students. Students attend Acton Elementary, Acton Middle and Granbury High School, all outside the city limits.
DCBE is currently looking for a an Food and Beverage Manager. This position supervises the Food and Beverage Restaurant operations and assists the Clubhouse Manager in various MOD duties. This individual must have passion and dedicated to excellent performance in customer service, extensive knowledge in wines, food presentation, problem resolution, training and people management skills. Must have a commitment for personal development and being part of a high performing food and beverage team. We are currently looking for someone who can perform duties of F&B Manager, responsibilities and ensure exceptional execution of member service for clubhouse, dining and banquet functions as requested.
Basic Abilities:
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, accuracy and wiliness to do what is needed to ensure a high level of service
- Complete managerial functions in absence of the Clubhouse Manager.
- Ability to direct and oversee dining room and banquet operations as needed.
- High level of organizational skills with a professional work demeanor at all times
- Direct and communicate clearly in all situations, effectively coach and counsel staff
- High degree of understanding of Jonas POS systems and intermediate level experience with Micro soft word and excel to produce departmental reports
- Excellent follow up skills
- Extensive Knowledge of wine, food and beverage.
Essential Duties:
· Ensure quality and consistency with an eye for detail of food beverage being served
· Anticipate members’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members/guests,
however busy and whatever time of day
· Maintain positive attitude and consistent personality
· Resolve member complaints, ensuring member satisfaction. Properly communicate for
follow up within the management team.
· Maintain complete knowledge and abide by state liquor regulations and laws
· Communicate professionally will staff. Assist with training programs for staff ability to coach and council employees and provide corrective direction
· Understanding of inventory processes and F&B requisition system. Basic understanding of food and beverage accounting practices.
· Exceptional people skills willingness to meet new people greets members upon arrival at dining/function
· Communicates professionally with culinary staff and streamlines processes with other food and beverage departments.
· Understanding of safe work practices and actively promotes departmental and club safety programs and be able to execute all emergency response procedures if necessary
· Responsible for closing duties as scheduled
· Audits and reviews weekly payroll for food and beverage
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management.

respond to the needs of a consistent changing and diverse membership.
· Commitment to achieving high level of Food and Beverage service standards
Salary & Benefits
Salary is commensurate with qualifications, education and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefits package.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
