RhinoAg is currently accepting applications to fill the position of 1st and 2nd shift Fabricators at its facility in Gibson City, Illinois (located 30 miles northwest of Champaign, IL and 30 miles east of Bloomington, IL). Pay commensurate with experience but starts at no less than $17.50 per hour.

Fabrication

Schedule: 1st Shift (5:30am to 2:00pm) Monday - Friday

Schedule: 2nd Shift (2pm to 12:30am) Monday - Thursday

Requirements:
Essential Functions of the Job:

1. Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment
2. Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company standards including first piece part inspections
3. Maintains 5s standards of housekeeping in work area
4. Meets production requirements
5. Operates a limited variety of fabrication machines that may include CNC equipment, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions
6. Performs Back flushing to relive raw material inventory
7. Performs basic set-up and adjustment of machinery following standard procedures including proper adjustment of guards and safety devices
8. Lifts and positions parts into the machine manually or with a hoist
9. Operates overhead crane
10. Assists other employees in set up and operation of machines
11. Performs daily inspection and preventive maintenance on machinery
12. Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety as necessary
13. Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

1. Shop math required
2. Utilize computer system to back flush material
3. Must be able to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
4. Good communication skills preferred
5. Must be able to operate overhead crane

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupation
2. Knowledge of machine processes, maintenance and equipment operation essential
Working Conditions:

1. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends
2. Must be physically capable of standing/working 8+ hour shift(s)
3. Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
4. Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas
5. Must be able to wear required safety equipment
