Fabricators are responsible for operating various metal working machinery to produce high quality parts for our products. Some essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Fabricators are responsible for operating various metal working machinery to produce high quality parts for our products. Some essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Works from established layout and follows sequence of operations.
- Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto work piece.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, laser table, plasma table and drill presses.
- Buffs and grinds finished parts.
- Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
- Enters information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
