Summary of Position

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the regular maintenance of the 25 offices in the Mississippi Project. There may also be an occasional build out at a location in which the Facilities Coordinator may be required to assist. Additional responsibilities include relocating the physical files and other office materials into other YoungWilliams locations throughout the State of Mississippi.


Essential Job Requirements

  • Assist in the build-out & procurement of office space.
  • Act as the owner’s representative in overseeing contractors completing Tenant Improvements and create punch lists upon completion.
  • Coordinate vendors for installation of office furniture, office supplies, and security systems.
  • Ensure security systems and processes are used to in assigned properties which meet YoungWilliams standards.
  • Receive maintenance requests and schedule repair. Timely communicate updates to all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the Director of Facilities, the Project Manager, District Managers, landlords, general contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for remedying major maintenance issues in leased properties.
  • Develop and oversee a routine maintenance program for assigned properties.
  • Make small repairs in office space as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties.
  • Coordination of yearly carpet cleaning at offices.
  • Make recommendations and implement strategies to lower utility costs.
  • Maintain Inventory Control for assigned properties.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • When required, assist in facilities functions in other regions.
  • Regular time and attendance.
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Travel will be required up to 50% of the time, including overnight stay.


Preferred Education

Equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in business or a related field.


Preferred Experience

  • Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience working with multiple facilities.
  • At least one (1) years’ experience overseeing construction projects.
