The Facilities Engineer is considered a senior leader in the restaurant, which involves participating in senior leadership meetings, and reports directly to the Owner/Operator. This Director works in operations at the restaurant 90%, and at the off-site office 10% of the time.
Pay Type: $17-$20/hr

Position Type:
● Full-Time, 40-50 hours per week
● Must have availability 4:30am - 10:00pm and overnight as needed

Qualifications:
● Facilities management experience in a restaurant hotel environment is preferred
● Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments as part of a team
● Experienced with Apple Products and the Microsoft Suite
● Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

● Provides feedback and updates to the Owner/Operator and Senior Director team regarding facilities maintenance concerns
● Must be knowledgeable of all corporate and local cleaning and maintenance requirements for the restaurant
● Ensures all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning & maintenance are completed in restaurant within budget constraints
● Work with the BOH and FOH leads to develop cleaning and maintenance schedules for their areas
● Makes recommendations to the operational leads about restaurant cleanliness
● Schedules all repairs and maintenance
● Makes recommendations about outside vendors
● Advises staff on “in-house” repairs
● Ensures all cleaning supplies in restaurant are well organized and stored according to health code
● Achieves strategic, annual cleanliness results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks
● Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction & feedback
● Follow sanitation and safety procedures
● Minor equipment repair
● Touch up Painting when needed
● Any special projects needed
● All other duties as assigned
