Failure Analysis Technician

The person in this role will perform timely physical and circuit level analysis of RF communications products. The technician on 2nd shift will work primarily to cover Failure Verification Analysis between 2pm and 11pm Monday to Friday. They will be working in a lab environment to perform initial incoming inspection, engineering evalutions and analysis of customer returns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary activities will include performing DC curve tracing
• Optical inspection
• Mechanical deprocessing and some physical cross sectioning
• This person will need to document findings from these function in written report format.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AA in Electronics or equivalent work/ military training
• The ideal candidate will have at least 0-2 years of semiconductor experience, preferably with RF products
• Skilled in failure analysis or trouble shooting of electronic equipment or components and actual hands on experience using electronic test equipment
• The ability to read and interpret technical documentation is desired
• Must be able to work night shift Monday thru Friday (2pm to 11pm)
