Position: Fair Lending Officer
Department: Fraud & Compliance Management
Reports to: President & Chief Operating Officer
Position Description: Officer is responsible for managing the FirstCNB Fair Lending Program to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and federal guidance. The position is responsible for monitoring the Bank’s lending activities, serving as the Bank’s Fair Lending expert, advising Executive Management and the Board of Directors on Fair Lending issues including risk mitigation, working with department managers to mitigate potential risk issues, and ensuring that bank personnel receive appropriate training on Fair Lending requirements. This position manages all aspects of the Bank’s Fair LendingProgram, including working with external auditing firms and regulatory agency examiners as necessary to ensure the effectiveness and success of the program.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a similar concentration is preferred. Significant experience performing Fair Lending risk assessments. Minimum of five years financial institution consumer compliance experience, including specific experience in Fair Lending and direct involvement with Fair Lending regulatory examinations. Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Office skills. Ability to prioritize time required to complete multiple tasks. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Working Conditions: Available to work Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Ability to meet deadlines is crucial. Position can be located in any market which FirstCNB has a financial center. Flexible work schedule.
Wage Level I: $85,000 - $100,000
