Woodlife Farm Market
General Manager

We are an on-farm retail market grocery store with butcher, fresh fish, deli, & concession style walk-up windows for hot food and ice cream. Located in New Lebanon, NY Seeking a retail market general manager with 5+ years of experience operating a grocery store with fresh meat, fish, deli, and kitchen. Preferably with farm experience and a background in food service.
Duties include Staffing, Scheduling, Inventory and Sales Management, Training Staff in best practices as well as maintaining food safety manager certification, Product Research, Visual Merchandising, insuring all regulatory requirements are followed and that all sanitation standards are met or exceeded, insuring a positive workplace and guest experience, and preparing quarterly and annual reports.
Experience with Toast POS is a plus.
$50,000-$70,000/year base salary + benefits based on experience.
Store opens in May, Job Starts March.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management
5+ years experience grocery store management
Food Service Background
Farm Experience
Servsafe Food Protection Manager Certified (or equivalent) HACCP Certified

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
