Field Sales Manager

We are currently looking for driven and energetic sales professionals to join our Field Sales Team. In the Field Sales Development Manager position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally in the development and execution of Local Sales Initiatives to support the overall ServiceMaster growth strategy. You will work with franchisees to increase and improve their ability to source organic leads in the network, expand market share with national carriers, and cultivate commercial revenue sources. In this role, you will support the implementation and utilization of ServiceMaster-approved technologies and systems to increase data-driven sales and will also work to expand training opportunities for franchisees, assisting them in their preparation for presentations to target prospects and guiding them in growing their internal sales departments and capabilities.


What you'll do:

  • Consult, coach, train, and develop owners, sales managers, and salespeople in the network through 1:1 and group sessions
  • Work in tandem with Business Development Consultants to drive profitable revenue growth in the network
  • Align efforts with the National Carrier Account Team to maximize program opportunities locally
  • Collaborate with Regional Account Managers to engage franchises with agent leaders and claims offices
  • Develop and facilitate sales training
  • Strengthen relationships with the franchise network to cultivate boots-on-the-ground sales efforts
  • Support field commercial sales goals to achieve the overall revenue goal
  • Bolster the “Engagement through Education” initiative
  • Assist in the creation of tools and materials in support of sales-related initiatives
  • Champion the implementation and utilization of the CRM system and other technologies
  • Coordinate and leverage internal resources, including our account management team, training, operations, marketing, etc. to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Experience coaching and training in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with a CRM tool
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an account management, sales, or sales management role in a service industry


Work is performed remotely with occasional travel.
