We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Field Service Technician in the Dayton, OH area.

This is a great opportunity to work on the latest technologies and at a market and technology leader. You will visit many different customer locations across the country and also be responsible for your local region of customers with Esko's high speed/resolution print inspection camera systems.

Your responsibilities as a field service technician include

• New system installations (camera optics, computers, software, mechanical)
• Train our customers on the application software
• Electrical, mechanical, optics and computer repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Remote troubleshooting of system and application problems

Local travel 25%, Overnight throughout USA travel 75%, Monday - Friday

Ideal profile

• Ideally you have some formal education in electronics or mechanics, military technical training or experience repairing industrial/commercial equipment.
• Electrical skills: you understand signal flows, connection diagrams, multi/voltmeter, oscilloscope, relays, AC/DC
• Mechanical skills: you are able to read mechanical assembly drawings and assemble components
• Computer skills: you have a good understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating system and basic networking. You are comfortable replacing computer parts such as hard drives, power supplies, network/video cards and able to install device drivers, Windows operating system and application software.
• Hands-on, customer-oriented and able to work independently
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver over, under and around printing equipment.
