Testers/Test Stand Technician

$16/hr

1st shift, 7am-3:30pm

2nd shift, 3:30pm-12 midnight

3rd shift, 12 midnight-7am

Primary Responsibility: Provide final hydrualic testing for all products assembled in facility.

Secondary Responsibility: Support other areas of production to include assembly, paint, and pneumatic testing

Principal Duties: * Properly test completed assemblies per specifications/procedures. * Accurately and timely process jobs in the production tracking system (KBS) * Final assurance of accurate assembly of completed valves. * Special project support to reach organizational goals. * Maintain technical proficiency components and systems. * Promote safety, practice safe work habits, and always comply with safety policies. * Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely manner. * Prepare for and actively participate in all departmental meetings. * Practice and promote good housekeeping measures and support all company efforts to comply with OSHA and environmental regulations. * Document quality defects as found in the testing procedures. * Accurately process jobs in the production tracking system * Provide support to Assembly Tech, Production Support, and Paint Tech. * Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: * Must have a high school diploma or GED and must be 18 years old. * Must be mechanically inclined * Must be able to use power tools * Minimum one year experience in assembly, service, repairing and/or product modifications of mechanical equipment preferred. * Experience in testing Fluid Power components preferred. * Required to wear steel toe shoes and other required PPE. * Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Windows and Excel preferred. * Effective communication skills are mandatory. Must possess proper command of English language, written and oral. * Must be able to work efficiently while keeping correct data. * Ability to work overtime as need, this could be during the week, weekends, and holidays.
