What you will do:

• Analyze / validate financials, financial metrics, and other data to ensure accurate reporting
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to identify trends in financial performance
• Assist in preparing and streamlining internal reporting packages, including variance analytics, trend analysis, etc.
• Support project-based reporting of actual spend vs budget
• Support annual planning and forecasting processes, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis
• Support financial processes for operational expenses including spend management, budget vs actuals analysis, and personnel planning
• Support Finance Manager in various analyses, projects, and duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• 3+ years of progressive experience in financial-related roles
• Strong analytical, data gathering, and communication skills along with understanding of general business acumen
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Results-driven and highly motivated with the ability to strike the right balance between detail-focused and grasping the big picture
• General understanding of the relationship between income statement and balance sheet
• Demonstrated success working in ambiguous environments
• Highly proficient with Excel, with mastery of sophisticated modeling and analysis techniques
• Experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI, and CPM experience such as Hyperion, OneStream or equivalent
