Job Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the oversight of McGill Restoration s fleet. This position has the opportunity to leverage technology to develop best practices across the enterprise to streamline asset utilization, optimize budgetary strategy, and enhance logistical deployment of all company assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to gain insights and analytics regarding our fleet management
• Improve and modernize financial analysis tools for real time decision-making while maximizing asset utilization
• Ownership of budget preparation and accountability for equipment purchases, repairs & maintenance, and small tools
• Plan and dispatch equipment to job sites while reducing down-time for company owned assets
• Collect internal and external data points to minimize equipment rental fee burdens
• Generate reports for internal use while communicating findings to leadership team
• Negotiate buying and selling terms with third parties for optimal pricing structures
• Safeguard company assets while ensuring compliance with relevant DOT laws and regulations
• Standardization of fleet branding and marketing
• Ensure timely renewals regarding vehicle registration, license, and insurance
• Oversee loss prevention, which includes insurance negotiations, claims management, investigations, settlements, record keeping, and program evaluation

Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial and asset management; experience with budgets
• Ability to analyze data for evaluation of equipment efficiencies
• Demonstrate ability to be a strong problem solver while responding calmly to stress
• Curiosity and willingness to embrace technology when possible
• High accuracy in work; attention to detail
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed to other locations; up to 15% travel

Pay Range

• $55,000 to $65,000
