Position Summary:

The primary role of the Financial Analyst I is to assist in the improvement of the company’s financial condition by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. This role will reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data and maintain the database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. This role will support the organization's leadership on all financial analytics, planning and reporting with an emphasis on automation and continuous improvement. This role is data-driven and analytical while also partnering cross-functionally to drive the business.

Essential Functions of this Role:

  • Analyzing financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions
  • Preparing plans of action for investment based on financial analyses.
  • Gather information,
  • Assemble spreadsheets,
  • Write reports, and
  • Review all non-legal pertinent information about prospective deals.
  • Examine the feasibility of a deal and prepare a plan of action based on financial analysis.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or other move objects, including the human body.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

Travel:

  • This job generally has no travel

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel required
  • General curiosity and understanding of business operations
  • Familiarity with financial statements and reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
