Job description
Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Responsible for performing the daily accounts payable functions for the Community Development & Outreach Services Department;
2. Works collaboratively with other program staff, departments, and/or vendors in order to resolve any basic payment issues;
3. Serves as the primary contact for inquiries and is responsible for answering incoming inquiries or directing complex inquiries to his/her supervisor in a timely and efficient manner;
4. Reviews and processes vendor invoices in the check request system;
5. Ensures all received invoice purchase orders match the quantity of items ordered;
6. Ensures items ordered are delivered to designated site;
7. Responsible for following up with vendors for any outstanding invoices and with program staff in preparation for year-end closing;
8. Handles a wide array of administrative tasks to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations;
9. Informs supervisor of any complex payment-related issues or discrepancies and assists with resolving, when appropriate.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:

Minimum: High School
