Financial/Data Analyst

Contract 8-12 months

Exton PA – must be onsite at least 1 day per week

· Insurance company needs to hire 2 Financial Analytics for a very mathematical role involving reconciliations.

· Expert level Excel experience- pivot tables, V-Lookup, data manipulation - from multiple data sources

· Basic MS Access experience for queries

· SQL a plus

· Must have experience going through ledger entries

· Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Description: Responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial models for financial planning and control. Analyzes and reports on financial performance of projects and programs. Creates metrics/reporting for senior management. Analyzes variances, trends, and provides decision support for internal customer. Budget preparation. Financial decision maker. Experienced individual with strong background in the following: Financial Analysis: Applies principles of finance to analyze and prepare financial operations/statements, Data Analysis - Maintains accurate records in database, Generates reports and analyze/present data: and Reporting analysis: Responsible for the analysis and reporting of balances, revenue, direct and indirect expenses. Strong Excel required. 1-3 years of experience.
