Part Time Role (Tues-Thurs 9:00am-4:30pm)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious, flexible, team-player to join our financial planning and investment management firm. The Financial Services Support Specialist will join the five-person team of Freedman Financial to support our clients based upon their unique financial planning needs. This is a dynamic work environment, and we are seeking a candidate who is willing to learn. Candidate must have strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills to support day-to-day operations. The role will include operational duties and client service support.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and summaries for client review meetings

  • Gather and input of financial planning data and assist with compliance data & reporting to support Advisor activity

  • Support the Client experience and relationships through day to day service activities (i.e. answering the phone, client information requests, etc.)

  • Account Maintenance activities including monitoring ongoing account notifications, entering client cost basis, and depositing checks

  • Identify opportunities to improve day to day operations

  • Maintain records and document activity in Redtail

Requirements:

  • 2+ years working within the financial industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Client Resource Management (CRM) software (i.e. Redtail) preferred

  • Experience preparing reports, analysis, and summaries for client review meeting

Preferences:

  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience

  • Client-first attitude

  • Understanding of financial services vocabulary preferred

  • Organized, with absolute attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities

  • Ability to handle multiple requests
