STRIDE Certified Fitness Coach Role Description
STRIDE is a boutique treadmill studio experience that is here to reinvent the definition of a cardio and treadmill training. High Intensity Interval classes are led by energetic Coaches in a supportive, empowering environment with state-of-the-art equipment and electrifying music.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor with our team and help us to share the STRIDE brand and experience to all people, everywhere.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 25 clients
- Energize and motivate clients throughout class
- Build STRIDE class attendance and retain current clientele
- Coach proper technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience (training provided)
- Attend staff meetings and required training (in person and virtual)
- Positively interact with members and prospective members
- Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed (training provided)
- Set up treadmills and explain class format for 1st time participants (training provided)
- Coach a minimum of 4 classes/week
- Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following
Qualifications:
- Strong background in fitness (knowledge strength training, cardiovascular training, core training)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create a high energy, positive environment that welcomes all people
- Comfortable speaking/coaching to a group
- Must be open to feedback and personal growth
- Fitness certification and coaching experience preferred
- Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
