Job Summary:

The Floral Driver & Set Up position is responsible for the delivery of all floral pieces. Responsible for daily preparation and storage of all shop materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be an effective yet positive communicator.
  • Retrieve all event décor and place back in designated areas: storage, shop, and production.
  • Keep the trucks and vans clean and gassed.
  • Responsible for weekly trash pickup and breakdown at all designated areas: storage, shop, and production.
  • Check in with managers, leads, and coordinators throughout the day.
  • Create a positive work environment for the department.
  • Help with the daily and weekly organization of storage spaces.
  • Maintain a neat, organized and safe work environment.
  • Clean and prepare flowers; clean up after job completion.
  • Deliver and set-up floral arrangements, linens, props or other décor for banquets and special events in timely and safe manner.
  • Check on the shipping and receiving of product as assigned by Leads.
  • Follows, and integrates Pebble Beach Company culture (mission, values, and standards).
  • Comply with the Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties and tasks may be assigned by the production office.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to set up floral arrangements, linens, props and other décor.
  • Ability to safely lift and move large and fragile objects.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
  • Valid California driver’s license with 2 (two) points or less.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
