Pay rate: $17.50 - $18.50
Hours are Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm. Breakfast and Lunch only. No nights, weekends or holidays

Position Summary: This position is an all-around kitchen food prep position with responsibility to prepare ingredients for various stations as directed by the Chef. For example, Cutting and slicing vegetables for the salad bar our Simply To Go station (pre-packaged salads and sandwiches), Catering, Deli on a as needed basis depending on the needs for each day.
During service time, you will work a station serving customers – stations may include the following: Entrée line, Action station (with training and guidance) Deli station, Back up and attend to Salad Bar. Provide Catering prep and delivery support. This position should be cross trained to work a cash register also and support the Utility duties if business demands require. Cross-training will occur so you can provide vacation relief as needed for example, if the deli person is out you will fill in that position (once trained)
Duties: (note: we currently have staff for these functions, you will assist current staff members)
  • Prepares salads, fruits, desserts
  • Cleans, peels and preps vegetables, fruits and berries for salads in all departments
  • Prepares compound salads using recipes and Sodexo build cards
  • Salad Bar prep – set up – record temperatures, take corrective actions if temps are not in the correct holding range per HACCP training you have received.
  • Maintains accurate records for food temps and sanitation solution logs for your areas
  • Assists with deli station during lunch, assists in catering preparation and delivery if asked
  • Provide a great guest experience, smile and greet customers
  • Set up and break down stations as directed by the Chef, supervisors or managers
  • Clean and sanitize work stations and service stations as requested by supervisors / Mgt
  • Any other tasks you may be asked to assist with

  • Additional external learning experiences is supported discuss with General Manager
  • You will need to lift a minimum of 30 pounds for this position. Seek assistance if you need to.

We ask for you to have energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work hard and learn and we therefore will do out part in teaching you what you need to know. We have a captive customer base and we know most of our customers by name so great customer service is a must, engaging with the customers during service is expected
