Job description
Certified Equipment Service is an established, family owned and operated company hiring an experienced mobile forklift mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment. We service clients from the Tampa Bay Area to Naples.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose and repair LP propane, Electric forklifts, and material handling equipment of all makes and models
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customers' forklifts and material handling equipment
- Ensure all safety items on each piece of equipment are properly maintained and functional
- Keep paperwork and proper records of each job
- Maintain your service vehicle and its inventory
Qualifications
- Good driving record and a valid drivers license is required
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand schematics
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks and material handling equipment
- Technical degree, previous lift truck/material handling repair, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
