Title: Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Reports To: Plant Manager

About McIntosh: McIntosh Box & Pallet is a packaging company that has been in business for over 58 years with 400+ employees across twelve locations. We have seven Plants in New York State, two in West Virginia, one in Virginia, one in Maryland, and one in North Carolina. We are searching for a highly qualified individual to help us in our Benson, NC facility.

Main Purpose of Job: We are looking for a technically skilled individual with excellent attention to detail for the position of Forklift Operator. This role will be responsible for moving material by operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. This individual will be responsible, hardworking, and be a team player!

Duties:

• Unload materials and stack them to assigned places
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility
• Load and unload trailers
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility
• Secure loads to machine before transportation
• Inspect for damages to vehicles
• Operate and manage technical equipment
• Identify workplace safety hazards
• Adhere to safety management standards
• Adhere to production schedules

Required Skills:
