SUMMARY
Oversee all embroidery machines and work with all operators to ensure consistency in procedures and high performance levels throughout the entire department. Support the Production Supervisor in developing a cohesive team of dedicated Associates, ensuring an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Oversee all operators to ensure production deadlines are met.
Perform Machine Operator’s duties when necessary.
Coach Associates who may need further guidance to ensure quotas are being met.
Offer technical solutions for continuous work improvements.
Oversee training of new Machine Operators.
Work with coordinator and manager to oversee projects and work flow.
Keep embroidery operators supplied, and help with any replacement parts.
Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery.
Familiarize with instructional manuals to ensure smooth troubleshooting and repair process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma.
Completion of a course in Design or similar would be preferred.
Experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.
Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detail.
Great customer service and communication skills.
Desire and ability to enthusiastically learn and embrace new technology.

Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
