PSPDFKit is expanding its finance and accounting team with a Financial, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Director. The FP&A Director will report to the company’s CFO and will take the lead role in financial modeling, planning, budgeting and reporting for a high-growth, acquisitive, investor-backed technology business. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical self-starter with experience in financial modeling in a fast-paced environment. This role is a fit for professionals with 4-7 years experience in investment banking, private equity and/or finance in a high-growth company, who want to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic operating business. The position is located in the company’s Raleigh, NC, USA office. Highly qualified remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build near-term operating forecasts and long-term financial projections for management, the board of directors and lenders
• Execute and refine annual department-level budgeting process
• Design and perform financial analyses to support senior management’s strategic decision making
• Create and maintain financial models to evaluate, support and track mergers and acquisitions and other strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues and external advisors in the investigation and strategic evaluation of potential acquisitions
• Collaborate with team leads to provide department-level data analysis and financial models to support departmental objectives
• Analyze and monitor company-level and department-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Conduct ad-hoc business performance reporting and analysis as required

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis together with developing and delivering recommendations based on analysis
• Superior proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and complex financial modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills; sharp attention to detail
• Disposition to take initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Strong desire to join and proactively participate on a small team where individual contributions are paramount
• Ideally, experience with mergers and acquisitions
