FQHC Clinician-LCSW

Mat-Su Health Services is excited to present the opportunity for an LCSW to join our team in the role of FQHC Clinician.

Mat-Su Health Services (MSHS), Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), dedicated to helping every patient receive the care they need, regardless of their ability to pay.

The model of care includes integrated family medicine, dental services and behavioral health care. The center offers early-morning and evening appointments to accommodate a variety of work schedules and daily routines.

Most importantly, services are here to help individuals who may be underinsured or uninsured. A sliding payment scale provides a discount on health services for qualifying patients, based on family size and income.

Therapists will average 6 patients per day and should expect 24 to 26 hours of billable time per week depending on the complexity of patients. Patient mix varies between short-term therapy, severe mentally ill, severe emotionally disturbed and various substance abuse issues. The center offers drug therapies for substance abuse. Depending on your experience, you may also provide treatment for ASAM level I substance use disorders, including group and family therapy.

All clinicians of the agency share after hours 24/7 crisis coverage, almost entirely done on the phone from home. The incoming therapist will take approximately one evening or one 24-hour weekend shift on call per 15-20 days for additional compensation of $5/hour for being on call and 1.5x salary hourly rate if called (average 1-3 phone calls after hours). On call schedules are flexible and shared by the clinician team.

$15,000 sign-on/relocation bonus with a 3-year commitment
$5,000 bonus after successful 90 day performance review
