Job Title: Freelance Skincare Professional, Retail Field

Reports To: Account Executive

Multiple Locations: California - Sacramento County, Marin County, Contra Costa County and Arizona Market.

The Freelance Skincare Professional is a client-centric position responsible for inspiring, educating, and motivating. The primary objective of the Freelance Skincare Professional is to support the Account Executive (AE) in efforts to meet and exceed sales objectives. They will build positive brand awareness with retail partners in assigned territories by executing Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare (DDG) retailer programs, launches, and event strategies. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business drivers within each retailer. Exhibit exceptional service, selling, and training skills. Must be able to cope with change and shift gears comfortably in an ever-changing industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct training to ensure store personnel is knowledgeable and confident in the brand selling techniques and product sound bites.
• Execute in-store events to increase sales and expand brand awareness.
• Collaborate with the territory Account Executive to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.
• Maintain a schedule that supports the AE with territory support needs.
• Exemplify the highest standard of sales and customer service skills.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key store personnel.
• Regularly communicate with AE on territory needs, notable happenings, and competitive sales trends.
• Maintain superior knowledge of brand and product information.

Qualifications Required for Position

• 1+ years equivalent experience in Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry.
• Passion for the Beauty Industry, Sales, and Clients.
• Proven ability to drive sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build positive business partnerships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.

Work Environment

Ability to lift <30 pounds and work in a fragranced environment on your feet for several hours a day, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary.

The number of hours per week ranges from 5 – 15 hours, depending on the time of year. (Typical shifts are 5-6 hours in-store). Preferred days - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Hourly rates for this position range from $18 - $30 hourly, depending on the location and experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
