Job Description:

Provide friendly, courteous and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests. Clean and set up tables in the outlet and perform other food service related duties, including general cleaning and set up. Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish washing machine in a safe, accident-free manner.

Responsibilities:

• Set and prepare tables, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Washes dishes and other cooking utensils. Restocks all clean glasses, silverware and plates.
• Performs general cleaning in order to stay in compliance with the Health department
• Puts away food stock, and dry goods in their proper location, rotating “first in”, “first out”
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Physical mobility and stamina required, ability to follow instruction, detail-oriented, professional attitude is required, ability to work independently.

Education:

High School or equivalent or 1-year diploma.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year previous hotel or restaurant-related experience desired, preferably in a high-volume environment.
