Job Description:
Assures that all food is prepared to recipe standards as laid out by Executive and/or Sous Chefs, providing high-quality, good-tasting food that exceeds our guests’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
  • Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
  • Assists Executive Chef & Sous Chef in maintaining par levels of all food items.
  • Clean and organize walk-ins and shelves.
  • Put away orders for food and dry goods.
  • Assist the bartender in preparing cocktail garnishes.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure working order and report maintenance deficiencies.
  • Follow sanitation procedures as laid out by the Health Department.

Requirements:

Physical mobility and stamina required, ability to follow instruction, detail-oriented, professional attitude is required, ability to work independently. Valid, unexpired Food Handler’s Certification required.

Education:

High School or equivalent or 1-year diploma.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year previous hotel or restaurant-related experience desired, preferably in a high-volume environment.
