Position: Front desk In-bound lead and Sustainability/Safety manager

SunDance is an innovative marketing solutions company offering solutions in design, print, direct marketing, large format, fulfillment, labels and packaging. We are searching for the right player to join our growing team as a unique role as the Front Desk In Bound Lead/Official Greeter and Sustainability/Safety manager.

This position will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing inbound sales calls and managing our Sustainability efforts including coordinating audits and certifications. A good deal of SunDance’s new business comes from in-bound leads so this role is crucial in the company’s long-term success and requires a close working relationship with the sales team and senior leadership.

The Sustainability Manager collaborates with SunDance’s Leadership, Operations, Manufacturing and

Marketing teams to develop and implement SunDance’s sustainability strategy. Responsibilities include:

initiating and managing sustainability-related projects, acting as Chairperson for the internal Sustainability, Committee, and building reporting programs that effectively measure performance.

The Sustainability Manager is a lead company representative with external stakeholders, communicating

SunDance’s sustainability goals and progress, while collaborating with peers to advance sustainability practices within SunDance’s and the wider-business community at large.

Ability to manage multiple types of projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service, internally and externally, is critically important.

Specific details on responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

· Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and distribute accordingly to sales team

· Maintain and expand CRM database by entering new customer data and updating changes to existing accounts.

· Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.

· Greet visitors and secure badge

· Various company initiatives and projects

· Provides senior leadership with periodic updates (minimum quarterly) on current projects and

sustainability-related performance metrics.

· Makes recommendations to senior leadership and seeks guidance on strategies which enhance and elevate Hemlock’s approach to sustainability.

· Collaborates with SunDance’s VP Sales and Marketing, Marketing Manager and other internal

· stakeholders on the development of external communications and sales resources.

· Maintains and continually improves core sustainability initiatives including ongoing SGP reporting; Develops, implements, and refines SunDance’s environmental reporting program which track the company’s performance according to pre-defined sustainability KPI’s

· Researches, identifies, and recommends (including cost-benefit analysis) environmentally progressive alternatives to current purchased goods and services

Requirements

  • Strong phone presence and experience managing dozens of calls per day
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· Solid experience in customer service

· Exceptional verbal communication and phone presence

· Excellent listening skills.

· Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

· Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

· High level of integrity and work ethic.

· Basic proficiency in social media.

· Volunteer or community work with organization(s) in the sustainability spectrum is an asset.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM software (HubSpot).

· 3-5 years of office/business experience, preferably in the communications/printing/graphic arts business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
