Our Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting and directing customers to the proper personnel to address their needs.

Position Details)

Primary Objectives

Create a warm, welcoming and helpful atmosphere for customers, employees and visitors.

  • Assist all visitors in a respectful manner and ensure that they are connected to the appropriate staff member.
  • Manage the multi-line phone system and direct calls to the correct person or department.
  • Page employees as necessary.
  • Open and lock lobby doors and the supply closet.
  • Ensure that the lobby is presentable to visitor at all times.
  • Ensure that outgoing mail is posted.
  • Provide support for projects involving updating spreadsheets, data entry and analysis and, materials tracking.
  • Assist various departments with mailings, sorting, alphabetized filing, stuffing envelopes, preparing folders and additional administrative tasks.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, email and the internet
  • Proper telephone etiquette
  • A High School diploma

Work Requirements

  • Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to spend hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.
  • Must have the ability to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
  • Must have the ability to read printed materials and a computer screen, and have the hearing and speech necessary to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of emergency and high priority calls.
